Dayna Edwards is Continuum’s Administrator. Dayna
has been with Continuum since 1995 in a variety of
capacities, and in fact was with the company even
before it became the Continuum we know today! Prior
to her tenure with Continuum Dayna has many
years of service in the health care arena. She has
worked as a staffing coordinator at a variety of
agencies throughout the area and knows all too well
the critical role nurse recruitment and staffing
plays in successful homecare placement. She also
gained extensive experience in operations as well as
finance, rising to Director of Finance at a major
skilled nursing facility in Arlington. In fact, Dayna is a Washington area native, having grown up
in Arlington as well. Dayna now resides in McLean –
about two minutes from our offices - with her
husband and son.

Marilyn Wilson is Continuum’s Assistant Director of Nursing and has worked with Continuum longer than any other employee. Marilyn first became a practical nurse in 1977. She later went on to become a registered nurse in 1985 and then a neonatal nurse practitioner. In her 28+ years of nursing experience, Marilyn has worked in a variety of health care settings with a foundation in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. In fact, Marilyn was so attached to the NICU that it took nearly 3 years of begging and pleading to finally get Marilyn to agree to work in homecare. Once Marilyn saw the impact she could have on her patient in the home setting, she never looked back! Marilyn has a special ability to connect with brain injured patients. She truly is gifted. When Marilyn and her husband Jacques are not helping out friends or family, they spend their weekends riding Harley Davidson motorcycles!

Kathy Mitchell is Continuum’s Director of Nursing. Her most important responsibility is the oversight of the clinical operations of all of Continuum’s locations. She comes by this task naturally given her more than 25 years of nursing experience, more than 17 of which come from the NICU and pediatric home care. Kathy joined Continuum in the mid 1990’s after moving from New York. Kathy has a passion for staying current with information relevant to Continuum’s patient population. She is a constant source of insight and advocacy for parents. Her ability to effortlessly teach sophisticated nursing practice is uncanny which is why her leadership is so significant for Continuum’s nurses. Kathy’s daughters, Katie and Lauren, are her pride and joy!
Natalie is the Director of Nursing in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. She has been working with medically fragile children for over 11 years in a broad range of healthcare settings. Natalie came to Continuum with an array of pediatric clinical experience from Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in both acute and critical care. She now enjoys working with this special patient population after they leave the hospital, working with them in their home and following the strides these little ones make. She takes tremendous pride in the difference that can be made not only for the patients but for their families as well. She lives with her husband, Charlie, and their dog, Joey, in the Pittsburgh area.

Robin Vick is Continuum’s Assistant
Director of Nursing. Robin received her Bachelors of
Science in Nursing from Duke University and has been a
nurse for most of her professional life, always enjoying
a work environment that is centered around health and
the human body. She is also an artist, and she finds
that her dual interests in science and the arts have
given her a unique perspective on the internal as well
as the physical attributes of her patients. For many
years she worked in large medical centers because she
liked the fact that learning was a big part of the
environment in teaching hospitals. Over time she grew
to specialize in neonatal intensive and special care,
always working within the framework of maternal/child
health and development. She eventually got her Masters
degree in Health Science/Health Administration. Robin’s
family includes her husband, Michael, and their son,
Matthew. They recently moved back to the United States
after having had the incredible experience of living in
Russia, England and France. Robin has been with
Continuum since early 2006.

Lisa Kaintoch is Continuum’s Assistant Director of Nursing. Lisa has a Masters of Science Degree from George Mason University in Health Systems Management and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America. She is a NICU nurse with over 10 years of experience in the field. During five of Lisa’s eight years at National Naval Medical Center she functioned as the NICU discharge planner. Given her extensive acute care background, Lisa finds particular enjoyment in assisting families with the coordination of medical care and seeing her patients ultimately thrive in the home environment. Lisa and her husband, Sebastian, have new energy in their own home with the recent addition of their first child, Sophie.
Jaime Budy is Continuum's Director of Nursing for our Virginia Beach office. Jaime came to Continuum as a staff nurse in 2006 and subsequently was promoted to this critical position leading our team in Southeastern Virginia. Jaime has over 25 years experience in the health care field including a 12 year stint in the U.S. Navy. He has worked over 15 years in several Neonatal ICU's, held nursing positions as a charge nurse, education coordinator, unit manager and nursing supervisor. He brings to Continuum a wealth of nursing knowledge, a (dry) sense of humor and an ability to connect with families making Continuum the fastest growing provider of pediatric home care in the Hampton Roads region.

Debbie Ortiz is Continuum’s Director of Staffing – day in and day out the hub of activity here at our main office. Debbie has been with Continuum for over four years, during which time she has recruited and worked with hundreds of nurses and served as the critical link between those nurses and the families we serve. Born and raised in Northern Virginia (she lives in Woodbridge with her adorable son), Debbie has worked in healthcare her entire career, first in physician’s offices, and then later in a large family health center. Debbie loves the challenge of her important role here, and the fact that we consistently exceed all industry benchmarks for filled shifts is a testament to her success – although she is never satisfied with less than 100%!
Joe Green is Continuum’s Director of Business Development. Joe has been in healthcare his entire career, beginning in the mid 80’s when he was Director of Marketing for a nursing job-fair company that worked with major medical centers throughout the country in recruiting nurses. In the late 80’s he founded and ran a temporary staffing agency for nurses and therapists, which eventually became one of the largest traveling health professional services for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech/Language Pathologists in the nation. Since that time he has been involved in several new business start-ups including Continuum’s visit nurse division, Continuum HomeCare Solutions. Joe originally heard about Continuum through one of his good friends whose son was one of Continuum’s early patients. He and his wife Kay have three children themselves – Jay, Larkin and Emma - and they reside in Alexandria.
