Kathy Mitchell is Continuum’s Director of Nursing. Her most important responsibility is the oversight of the clinical operations of all of Continuum’s locations. She comes by this task naturally given her more than 25 years of nursing experience, more than 17 of which come from the NICU and pediatric home care. Kathy joined Continuum in the mid 1990’s after moving from New York. Kathy has a passion for staying current with information relevant to Continuum’s patient population. She is a constant source of insight and advocacy for parents. Her ability to effortlessly teach sophisticated nursing practice is uncanny which is why her leadership is so significant for Continuum’s nurses. Kathy’s daughters, Katie and Lauren, are her pride and joy!

Joe Green is the President of the Continuum Group. His office is in our McLean, Virginia headquarters, although he can often be found visiting our various branch offices throughout the country. Joe is a native Washingtonian, having grown up primarily in Northern Virginia. He has a BA from George Mason University and began his career working on Capitol Hill focusing on healthcare legislative issues. Since that time, Joe has owned and managed a national healthcare staffing agency, worked as Director of Business Development for an IT services company and served as Vice President for a multi-state mental health services provider among other, mostly healthcare related positions. Joe came to Continuum through a personal connection with the family of one of the children the company had cared for over the previous 10 years. Coming from this perspective, he considers his role at Continuum as much more than a job, and in addition to his wife and three children – Jay, Larkin and Emma – he is most proud to be part of the Continuum family.
Alexis Kaplan has been part of the Continuum Family since the very beginning. She has served as our national recruiting and testing coordinator for many years and most recently helped launch our behavioral health division – Continuum Behavioral Health. She is now President of Continuum Behavioral Health. Alexis lives in South Carolina and, while she travels extensively to all our offices, works from our Charleston SC office when home. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loveable dogs and has a passion for photography.

Chris and his wife Stacy have four children – Shelby, Katelyn, Matthew and Hannah. Whenever he has a chance, Chris loves nothing more than getting on his boat and fishing the Chesapeake Bay.
Erin Jones is the National Administrator for Continuum. Erin came to Continuum with an accounting background and “can do” attitude in 2003. Her initial role here was as a payroll data entry clerk responsible for ensuring nurses were paid accurately and on time. She has over the years, along with other senior members, played a big part in the growth of Continuum across the country. With the addition of new offices and staff, her role at Continuum evolved to include supervising the payroll, billing and collections sides of the finance department. She has also been responsible for the training of new administrative staff both in the corporate and site offices. Her knowledge base and creative thinking have been integral in developing new policies as well as in the implementation of new software, leading to her promotion as National Administrator in 2018. She is also known as the comedian of the company and makes every effort to keep the atmosphere around her happy and filled with laughter! Erin is married and has two sons. Her hope is to continue to work for Continuum, a company that makes a difference, so by her example her sons learn the importance of dedication, loyalty and compassion for others.
